What you need to know

​Our client who are based on the Cavan/Fermanagh border are seeking Shift Electricians to join their team across there range of manufacturing facilities.

In this role you will be reporting to the respective Electrical supervisor, and you will be responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of the respective plant.

This role is a Permanent opportunity and he hours involved will be on a shift pattern. Covering days, nights, and weekends.

Your new job

Duties and responsibilities

• Liaise effectively with the production team on any issues and continuous improvement activities.

• Ensure that the plants machinery is operating within the manufacturing standards in place.

• Responsible for the day-to-day routine maintenance of all equipment on site.

• Carry out preventative maintenance.

• Follow electrical drawings for fault diagnosis & isolation of circuits.

• Regular communication with management on any issues and recommendations on the production line.

What are we looking for?

• A formal qualification as an electrician is a must.

• Electrical experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting is a must.

• Exposure to preventative maintenance systems and knowledgeable on instrumentations and calibrations.

• The ability to work in a team and use their own initiative.
