Senior HR Generalist 

You will work as a Senior HR Generalist for our manufacturing client, based in Co. Offaly. They are a dynamic, growing, and exciting manufacturing operating in the healthcare sectors.

You will be responsible for providing HR support to the company with the  implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives . You will  provide support, guidance, and advice to managers on HR matters. 

This is a permanent job.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Strategic partner with the business in delivery of Talent Management Strategy, employee engagement and employee development opportunities.

  • Employee Onboarding and Retention Programmes

  • Development, implementation and ongoing review of human resources policies and procedures

  • Management of people processes including Time and Attendance, Employee records and reconciliation of weekly/monthly payroll with managers. 

  • Performance management and talent reviews to ensure desired levels of capabilities and performance to meet current and future business needs.

  • Ensure best practice HR and full employment law compliance whilst keeping up to date on employment law changes and providing up to date advice as required.

  • Work in collaboration with Senior Site Leaders to develop and roll out strategic initiatives which support the culture and objectives of the organization

  • Assist in the development and rollout of HR related projects focused on Employee Engagement, Wellness, and Inclusion & Diversity

  • Provide counsel, guidance and advice to management in line with best practice HR as required

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related discipline.

  • 5+ years previous experience in fast paced environment, ideally manufacturing.

  • Proven experience in managing employee engagement and  operational HR .

  • Strong HR Systems experience ideally TMS.

  • Proven experience in relationship building and collaboration with senior leaders.

  • Strong written & oral communication skills, previous experience presenting to senior management team.

  • Problem-solving, negotiating and influencing skills. 

  • Ability to work on own initiative.
