Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a- Quality Manager for our client, based in Wicklow region.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Align departmental goals with company objectives, fostering continuous improvement in the Quality Department.

  • Collaborative Engagement: Work with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency, emphasizing right first-time manufacturing.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Attend daily meetings, proactively address quality issues, and establish teams for investigations and improvements.

  • Customer Focus: Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements, promptly investigate and report complaints using root cause analysis.

  • Training and Development: Provide quality-related training, lead internal audits, and actively participate in Lean project rollouts.

  • Documentation Management: Maintain control of Quality Assurance Manuals and Documentation. Handle CAPAs, deviations, and change control requests.

  • Management: Take charge of personnel management, recruitment, development, and performance planning for the Quality Department staff.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of right first-time manufacturing, identify improvement opportunities, and engage all departments in initiatives.

  • Compliance and Certification: Adhere to approved procedures within the APL Quality Management System. Ensure compliance with BRC and ISO 13485.

  • Operational Excellence: Drive efficiencies in the production area, perform inspections, and maintain line clearance and quality controls.

  • Audit Excellence: Achieve and maintain a minimum Grade A in BRC audits and a flawless ISO 13485 certification.


What are we looking for?

  • 3rd level Qualification in Quality or Science.

  • 3-4 years quality management experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting, ideally pharma/medical devices.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and BRC standards.

  • Ability to drive a culture of continuous improvement & operational excellence.
