I am Recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for our client based in Co. Offaly.

This company is globally recognised in medical device manufacturing. Additionally, always focussing on being innovative in the development of their products. This company is growing continually at an unprecedented rate, and they are looking for an individual that will be willing to develop and grow alongside the company’s expansion.

In this role you will be reporting to the Production manager, and you will be responsible for providing technical support to production operations.

 This is a full-time permanent position operating on a day shift Monday to Friday basis.

Working hours are 8:30-4:45 PM. Included in the package is Healthcare and a Pension contribution.

Your New Job

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Involved with assisting the Engineering team in identification, diagnosis, and rectification of production test failures

  • Production and testing of high-quality assemblies for Medical Equipment

  • Involvement in Continuous Improvement activities and projects as agreed

  • Carry out of IQ, OQ and PQ documentation

  • Adherence to GMP and other regulatory standards

  • Ensure that the companies health and safety regulations are being adhered to

 

What are we looking for?

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering/Science background

  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment in a quality environment is a distinct advantage

  • Knowledge of regulatory processes such as ISO 13485, 21CFR280 and the MDSAP program would be a desired advantage

  • Ability to work under pressure and have experience of working towards targets and timelines

  • Knowledge of KPIs within a Quality environment
