​Our client a Westmeath - based design, delivery, consultancy, and Maintenance solutions provider are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

You will be working on a Maintenance project in County Laois.

You will be ultimately responsible for the maintenance of production machinery on the prospective client’s site.

This will be a Permanent position on Monday to Friday basis where the hours of work will be 8 AM-4:30 PM. There will be an expectation to cover shift technicians on sick and annual leave. This will be on a two-cycle basis 12:30 PM-12:30AM and 4:30 PM-4:30 AM. Shift premium will kick in when these hours are applied.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance and support on high-speed automated equipment.

• Troubleshooting systems such as PC’s, PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, IT and electronic/electrical systems.

• Optimise CMMS and PM programs on any maintenance tasks.

• Work effectively with other team members and other departments on maintenance issues.

What are we looking for?

• A level 6 qualification/Trade orientated qualification

• Experienced in an automated electro/mechanical background.

• High - volume manufacturing experience.
