Our client, a leader in electrical and mechanical services to the Water, Pharma and Food industries are seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join their team.

The required individual will be required to service the Meath area. This will be on a Monday to Friday basis with hours being 8AM-4:30PM.

You will be tasked with a variety of maintenance works and small installations. Company van and mobile will be provided.

Duties and responsibilities

• Carry out instrumentation service, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs to various types of equipment on water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.

• Troubleshooting and resolution of on-site issues on an array of equipment, from flow to level to water analysers.

• Daily liaison with Service dept. personnel and client on findings and recommendations

• General administration duties include report writing, record keeping etc.

• Provide the highest level of customer service.

What are we looking for?

• Ideally a competent instrument tech with at least 2-3 years’ experience.

• Fully qualified Electrical and Instrumentation apprentice. However, will be willing to learn and develop in the role.

• Also, may suit a fully qualified electrician that has instrumentation experience and is willing to go more into an Instrumentation environment.

• Power mA and control wiring would be a distinct advantage also.
