Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Administrator for our client, a global investment bank. The contract will run until December 2022 and there is some possibility of extension and/or permanency at the contracts end. The successful candidate will receive on the job training and guidance in their respective departments.

This is an office-based role in Limerick.

What you will be doing:

• As part of the International Tax Services team, you will be tasked with international withholding tax processing, managing the company’s tax documentation and identify and process tax reclaims on behalf of the company’s client base to ensure maximum tax benefits.

• Respond to inquiries in an accurate and timely fashion and focus on continually improving the service offered to clients.

• Complete tasks ass assigned by the team leader and other senior team members.

• Process, scan, record and distribute the large volumes of documentation the team receives each day.

• Play an active role in the preparation of tax breakdowns and tax reclaims.

• Support the team to the best of your ability and exceed expectations of clients.

• Be aware of all existing service level agreements and work closely with relevant contacts within the scope of business to provide the best possible service at all times.

What we are looking for:

• A bright, articulate and confident individual with a demonstrated ability to navigate through obstacles, work under pressure and successfully deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-moving business environment.

• Previous tax experience is not essential as training is provided, but previous experience in an administration/office based role would be a big advantage.

• Excellent communication skills are a must.

• A quick adapter who is resilient and very detail oriented.

• Numerically competent with strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Proven ability to work well with others especially as part of a team.

• A strong educational background – ideally up to degree level in business or tax area.
