What you need to know
Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Client Payment Processing Consultant role for our client, a global financial services company based in Limerick.


In this position, you will work within a team to support the completion of client expenses production processes. You will also work with external and internal clients to deliver a first class service. Participation in the identification of process improvements, system enhancements will also form part of this position.

The relevant training will be provided in this position.
This role is with an employer that promotes a work-life balance.

This is a 12-month contract position with some possibility of extension or other opportunities arising going forward. The role offers a hybrid working model.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review client expenses and payments as well as overseeing client expense processes in the department.
  • Liaise with clients in relation to relevant queries and ensure a strong level of service to clients.
  • Participate in and approve payments, file tax returns and review budgets as required.
  • Problem solving and issue resolution as required to ensure timely payment processing.
  • Oversight of all payment processing including third party payments, funds, director fees and management fees.
  • Participate in the budgeting process as required.
  • Lead and mentor team members, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
  • Assist in process improvements relating to the department’s performance, particularly around the areas of quality of work, process efficiency, and risk and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the broader team across various regions as required.

What are we looking for?
  • 5 years+ experience in a busy operations environment.
  • Experience in the oversight of payment processing or accounts payable function in a multinational organisation.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively, and work to deadlines.
  • Client servicing experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • IT proficiency.
