CAD Technician Responsibilities:
- Produce precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Cabi-net Vision, and Arti CAD, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to review designs, incorporate feedback, and ensure overall design accuracy.
- Verify drawing accuracy by cross-referencing specifications and measurements, maintaining adherence to project requirements.
- Manage customer orders in the ERP system, develop custom product designs, generate component orders, and coordinate with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Maintain CAD file version control, generate reports on order trends and discrepancies, and provide technical support to customers and team members.
CAD and Order Coordinator Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArtiCAD) with a strong ability to create precise technical drawings.
- Skilled in using order management and ERP systems for accurate order processing and documentation.
- Precise in ensuring accuracy in technical designs and order details.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to address design challenges, resolve discrepancies, and manage customer concerns.
