My client is looking to recruit an Assistant Quality Assurance Manager for their facility

You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the quality function ensuring KPI’s are met, driving policies & procedures and maintaining the quality management system.

This is a permanent job.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Lead and develop your team and review performance processes

• Drive quality food safety culture within your department

• Ensure an effective HACCP is maintained

• Implement and develop plans on food safety risks

• Assist in the implementation of an effective Quality Management System

• Create an internal quality auditing programme

• Ensure compliance of codes of practice & certification standards i.e. MPQAS, BRC).

What are we looking for?

• 3rd Level qualification in food/manufacturing or related discipline.

• Experience working in a Quality management/supervisory role

• Great attention to detail and results driven approach

• Excellent organisational and team leadership abilities

• Knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
