Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Executive for our client covering the Leinster area

This is a full-time Permeant role. 

What you need to know:
Our client is the leading supplier of industrial coding, marking, and labeling equipment in Ireland. We provide solutions for manufacturers in various sectors, enabling them to print and verify crucial information on products and packaging.
Your New Job:
As a Technical Sales Engineer, your primary responsibility, will be to sell equipment, including factory-specific solutions such as Laser marking, Ink Jet, Thermal transfer, labeling, Vision, and Factory automation solutions to manufacturers in the designated territory. Supported by our National Sales Manager, you will work with existing customers and identify new clients, managing the sales cycle from initial enquiry to after-sales support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow the existing customer base while developing relationships with new clients.
  • Travel regularly within the assigned area to maximize business potential.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial enquiry to after-sales support.
  • Conduct regular on-site demonstrations of our technology to end-users and OEMs.
  • Participate in or attend trade shows.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to meet customer needs.
  • Deliver commercial proposals in a timely manner.
  • Prepare sales reports for management.
  • Update and maintain customer information, quotations, and sales opportunities via CRM system.
What are we looking for?
  • Proven track record (preferably 2-3 years continuous employment) in B2B sales.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated and driven with the ability to manage your own schedule.
  • Experience in a targeted sales environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and video conferencing platforms.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • Presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Ability to engage with key stakeholders.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Full clean Irish driver's license.
