You will work as a Warehouse and Inventory control Supervisor for our client, a highly successful and well-established manufacturing company in Co. Cavan. 

As the Warehouse ad Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating warehouse activities and ensure the smooth running of the warehouse. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team and ensuring company targets are met.

This is a permanent job where the role is operating on a Monday to Friday Day-shift basis.

Your new job

• Overseeing that there is accurate receipt of goods and that they are aligning with purchase order

• Work out the most accurate and optimum locations for deliveries in line with the company’s production requirements

• Focus on stock accuracy, maintaining this through inventory and cycle counting

• Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilise reports to project warehouse status

• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

• Identify and highlight slow moving goods

• Execute daily inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepancies and problems

• Work closely with other departments on deadlines and elements relating to Company expectations

• Communicate effectively with assemblers and operators on what the company expectations/targets are and how they coincide with their performances

Requirements

• Educated to diploma level or higher in Logistics, Warehouse management, Engineering or Manufacturing management 

• Two to three years’ experience working as a Warehouse/Logistics/Stores superviosr in a manufacturing /warehouse environment 

• Have a track record in working towards targets/deadlines/KPIs

• Have strong experience in overseeing a team and ensuring that they are working collectively as a team towards company targets

• Experience in the use of ERP and Warehouse management systems
