Matrix Recruitment is recruiting for a Trade QualifiedFitter on behalf of a leading manufacturing company in South Kildare.
This is a permanent role maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime and supporting the smooth running of the manufacturing plant.
Days role/Full benefits
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
Maintain pumps, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Complete maintenance work through the CMMS.
Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
Work closely with production to maximise uptime.
Follow GMP, HACCP and LOTO procedures.
Assist with maintenance planning and spare parts.
What We're Looking For
Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter/Maintenance Technician.
Minimum 2/3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair experience.
Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
Knowledge of automated production equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
