What you need to know:
Matrix Recruitment are hiring a Supplier Relationship Specialist for a growing pharmaceutical organisation based in Dublin.

This is a key cross-functional role focused on managing supplier and Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) relationships, ensuring continuity of supply, and coordinating activities across supply chain, quality, regulatory, and operations teams.

The role will suit someone with experience working in regulated environments such as pharma, biotech, medical devices, healthcare, or food manufacturing, particularly where supplier management, quality, compliance, or external manufacturing coordination formed part of the role.


Your new role:

You’ll act as the main point of contact for external manufacturing partners and suppliers, helping to ensure products are delivered on time, supply risks are managed proactively, and operational issues are resolved efficiently.

This is a highly collaborative role with strong exposure across supply chain, quality, regulatory affairs, procurement, and finance.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with CMOs, suppliers, and external partners

  • Coordinate supply planning activities and monitor product availability

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams on supply, quality, and regulatory matters

  • Track orders, shipments, and supply timelines through ERP systems

  • Support issue resolution relating to supply, quality, forecasting, or logistics

  • Maintain accurate product, inventory, SKU, and lifecycle information

  • Participate in new product launches, tech transfers, and change controls

  • Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP standards, contracts, and regulatory requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science, Quality, or related discipline

  • Experience within a regulated industry such as pharma, medical devices, healthcare, or food manufacturing

  • Experience managing supplier, customer, or external manufacturing relationships

  • Background in quality, regulatory, supply chain coordination, or operations within a regulated environment

  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience within external manufacturing / CMO environments would be highly advantageous
