STRUCTURAL ENGINEER – DESIGN TEAM

At our Tipperary site, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge structural designs across a diverse portfolio of projects—while contributing to a more sustainable built environment.

Your New Role
As a key member of the Design team, you will:

  • Develop concept designs and early-stage planning solutions for a wide range of building types

  • Produce structural engineering calculations for light gauge steel frames, hot rolled members, and composite floor systems

  • Deliver high-quality project work on time and within budget

  • Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Ensure compliance with our Integrated Management System

  • Contribute to key design decisions, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned

  • Represent the company in meetings alongside senior team members

  • Support the detailed design process, including software use and production of manufacturing information


What are we looking for

  • Proven experience as a Structural Engineer (steel design experience is highly desirable)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Tekla and AutoCAD

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree meeting the academic requirements for Chartership
