Your New Job:
As Shift Supervisor, you’ll report directly to the Production Manager, taking charge of production activities and quality within a busy manufacturing setting. You’ll play a key part in leading your team, ensuring targets are consistently hit throughout your shift. This role is shift-based, working Monday to Friday.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate workflow and drive efficiency throughout the factory floor
- Oversee people management, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance
- Monitor team attendance and maintain workforce discipline
- Champion continuous improvement and foster a high-performing team culture
- Ensure adherence to health & safety requirements at all times
- Regularly check quality control standards and documentation
- Work closely with maintenance to ensure production equipment reliability
- Promote “right-first time” quality standards across all activities
- Direct experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
- Great attention to detail and commitment to team success
