Service Support Technician
Location: Field-based – Offaly, Westmeath, Louth & Meath
Transport: Van provided. Full Irish Driving License required.
Role Type: Full-time 45 hours per week
Reporting To: Senior Engineer
What you need to know
My client, a services management company is looking to hire a Service Support Technician to join their expanding team.
As the Service Support Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing and maintenance of Air, Vac and Jet Wash machines at customer sites. The role is customer-facing and will involve regular travel throughout the assigned territories.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Carry out site visits across Offaly, Westmeath, Louth and Meath.
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and operational faults.
- Repair equipment and replace parts where required.
- Maintain appropriate stock of tools, parts and consumables.
- Respond to service and maintenance requirements
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a field-service, maintenance, engineering, mechanical or technical support role ideally.
- Experience working with electrical or mechanical equipment would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule of site visits.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel regularly throughout Offaly, Westmeath, Louth and Meath.
- Full training provided.
- Irish driving license
