My client, based in Co. Longford is looking to recruit a Senior Quality Engineer to work in their manufacturing facility.

You will report into the Quality Manager

This is a permanent job with company benefits.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Develop and implement solutions to improve and maintain the Quality Management System

• Implement process control programs to meet customer requirements

• Carry out process validations on products

• Perform quality engineering analysis to identify strategies to prevent quality non-conformances.

• Track quality data to support quality improvements

• Support Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, training, and regulations.

• Assist in both internal/external audits

• Co-ordinate NCR / CAPA Process to ensure resolution and issue closures

What are we looking for?

• 3rd level qualification in Engineering, Polymer Science or related discipline

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer within an Injection Moulding or medical manufacturing environment

• Experience in statistical analysis (Minitab)/SPC/validations.

• Ability to work independently and alongside cross-functional teams

• Excellent management/coordination skills

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision making

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and facilitation skills
