Are you ready to champion quality and food safety standards in a fast-paced production setting? We’re looking for a skilled Quality Supervisor to drive continual improvement and uphold excellence, working with a committed team to ensure the highest standards in all we do.
Your New Job:
As Quality Supervisor, you’ll report to the Technical Manager and oversee quality operations across the production site. You’ll lead a dedicated team, collaborating with Production, Operations, and Technical to maintain compliance and promote a strong food safety culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role with real influence and responsibility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily quality functions, ensuring compliance with all food safety, quality, and legal standards
- Support the Technical Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System
- Monitor, verify, and review HACCP plans, prerequisite programs, and Critical Control Points
- Oversee environmental monitoring, product sampling, and testing, following up on any non-conformances
- Review production records and test results for accuracy and compliance
- Investigate quality incidents and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain comprehensive quality records in line with company and regulatory needs
- Coach, develop, and set clear objectives for the Quality Assurance team
- Foster a positive food safety culture within the business
What Are We Looking For?
- Experience in Quality Supervisor role in food manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety legislation
- Proven experience managing quality systems and audit readiness
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Highly organised with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems
