Laboratory Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine laboratory testing, sampling, and microbiological analysis
- Perform swabbing to verify cleaning and hygiene effectiveness
- Monitor product (carcass) quality
- Maintain laboratory documentation and procedures
- Review and record test results, ensuring accuracy and proper sign-off
- Prepare basic weekly reports for QA management and veterinary authorities
- Support HACCP, hygiene, and food safety systems
- Assist with corrective actions and non-conformance investigations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
- Contribute to sanitation, cleaning, and quality system activities
- Liaise with internal teams and external inspectors when required
Requirements:
- Ability to work well in a QA/laboratory environment and within a team
- Good attention to detail and a practical, analytical mindset
- Able to work on own initiative
- Basic computer skills
