Are you detail-oriented and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? A well-established organisation is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to play a key role in managing product planning and purchasing. 

Your New Job:
In this position, you’ll take full ownership of product purchasing and stock management activities. You’ll be responsible for raising purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring optimum stock levels. Working alongside various teams, you'll handle supplier relationships and manage invoice processing. This role involves regular reporting and close monitoring of budgets and purchasing spend.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Raise monthly purchase orders and track deliveries for all suppliers.

  • Oversee product planning and manage stock levels to meet customer demand.

  • Review daily stock alerts and arrange additional orders as needed.

  • Match delivery notes to purchase orders; check against supplier invoices before processing.

  • Enter service invoices and resolve discrepancies with suppliers promptly.

  • Monitor supplier prices and flag increases that may impact margins.

  • Highlight excess stock and provide regular budget updates to the sales team.

  • Support supplier sourcing for new and existing products as required.

  • Keep procedures updated and ensure obsolete documents are removed.

  • Set up new suppliers with accurate records and completed questionnaires.

  • Reconcile month end supplier statements.

What Are We Looking For?:

  • Knowledge and experience in purchasing/product planning.

  • Confident working independently with strong organisational skills.

  • Comfortable managing supplier relationships and resolving issues.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy with stock and invoice processing.

  • Able to monitor spend and communicate effectively with internal teams.
