WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This is a rare opportunity to work for a trusted household brand with a proud heritage and growing international presence.   Our client is now seeking to recruit a confident production supervisor/teamlead who enjoys leading people, solving problems, driving standards, and delivering results in a fast-paced food production environment.

YOUR NEW JOB 
You will be a critical member of the Operations team, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while leading and developing a high-performing team. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational performance, continuous improvement, and the success of a well-established and growing food manufacturing business.

Production & Operational Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day production activities to deliver production plans, output targets, quality standards, and operational KPIs.

  • Coordinate staffing, workflow, and production schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.

  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.

  • Allocate work, set priorities, and ensure performance standards are consistently achieved.

  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives and Encourage team participation in process improvement activities.

  • Ensure safe working practices at all times and maintain strong safety focus at all times.


Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, hygiene, allergen control, and GMP requirements.

  • Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Work closely with Quality teams to investigate and resolve quality issues


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a medium to large manufacturing organisation.

  • Knowledge and experience of BRC, FSSC 22000, or ISO 9001

  • Product compliance experience.

  • Continuous Improvement / operational Excellence experience beneficial.

  • Supervisory experience in a shift-based manufacturing environment

  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, or regulated production environments will be highly advantageous.

Full job spec available for interested candidates.    This is a shift position as part of the production team onsite.
