Matrix Recruitment is working with our client, a renowned Food Manufacturing company in Co. Leitrim to hire a Production Supervisor to join their team.

As a Production Supervisor, you will have full responsibility for the supervision of the production line. You will supervise the production team and ensure that all Health & Safety standards are being adhered to in the workplace. 

This is a great opportunity to join an established company in a fast-paced environment to learn and grow their knowledge in the food industry. You will be reporting directly to the Production Manager.

Your new job
Responsibilities: 

• Maintaining the quality standards and ensuring all HAACP requirements are met as set by the company.

• Filling in daily and weekly reports in a timely manner as required. 

• Managing and supervising the continuous development and improvement of all areas using lean tools. 

• Supervising Health & safety in the working environment.

• Managing and training staff including inductions, time keeping, attendance management and ensuring all staff are appropriately trained and following SOP’s as set by the Quality department. 

What are we looking for?

• Education to Leaving Cert or equivalent. Further training an advantage.

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role and industry.

• Keen understanding of the importance of Health & safety, quality and on time delivery

• Track record in achieving targets.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Problem solving and solution focused.
