My client, in the FMCG sector is looking to recruit a National Account Manager for their facility in Co. Monaghan
Travel is a requirement for this role and a company car will be provided
You will be reporting into the Head of Consumer Foods
You will be responsible for planning and implementing company business plans, consumer insights, key business targets and negotiation of trading terms
Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
Generate business plans ie. Profit-based account plans, budgets, identifying customer’s profit drivers, promotional calendars.
Development of trade terms
Manage customer brand and guidelines
Maintain sales profit forecasts
Negotiate new customer listings
Implement product launches
Merchandising support & field sales communication
Liaise with multi-functional teams i.e. Supply Chain/Finance/Marketing to identify business issues
Develop & manage customer relationships
Training & development
Responsible for own compliance with the Company’s Data Protection Policy
Travel is a requirement for this job and a company car will be provided
What are we looking for?
At least 5 years experience of managing Multiple / Discounter Retail.
Preferred background FMCG sector/Food manufacturing industry
3rd Level Qualification Food/Sales/Supply Chain or related discipline
Structured selling & major negotiation skills
Strong analysis & decision-making skills
Experience with budget plans & key cost drivers
Strong communication and relationship building/maintaining
Team development & coaching skills
Full clean Driving License required
