Here’s a fantastic opportunity to join a 4-star hotel as a Maintenance Manager. You’ll play a key role in keeping standards high and ensuring every guest enjoys a top-notch experience in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Your New Job:
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall care, safety, and smooth operation of the property’s facilities. Reporting directly to the General Manager/Owner, you’ll lead a small team, work closely with other departments, and manage a variety of on-site maintenance tasks on a full-time basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance of all guest rooms, public areas, leisure facilities, and outside grounds
Ensure all mechanical and electrical equipment operates efficiently and meets high presentation standards
Conduct daily walk-throughs and implement preventative maintenance schedules
Maintain safety records and ensure full compliance with health and fire safety regulations
Supervise the maintenance team, allocating tasks and providing training where needed
Manage budgets, control maintenance costs, and source competitive supplier quotes
Respond quickly to guest maintenance requests, keeping disruption to a minimum
What Are We Looking For?:
Hands-on facilities/maintenance experience within hospitality
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general property upkeep
Understanding of relevant health & safety regulations
Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
Technical qualifications and prior supervisory experience are an advantage
