What you need to know​

We are recruiting for a Junior Engineer for our client base in Co. Clare. Our client who is well respected and renowned nationally and in Europe for manufacturing top quality products also having a massive emphasis on research and development and technological advancements in here products.

In this role you will be reporting to the Engineering Lead, and you will be involved in the design/manufacturing team where you will be focussing on improving the function, appearance and value for the customers of the client.

This is a permanent full-time role where working hours are on a flexible day basis.

Your new job

• Using SolidWorks and PDM to create 3D models, detailed drawings, BOM’s, Product Specification, Parts/Operation Manual instructions, and file management.

• Using SigmaNest to create nest programs for Production demands.

• Support/Deliver Manufacturing Strategies and Improvements in accordance with New Technologies/Procedures

• Perform necessary design and analysis work associated within projects.

• Maintain orderly project deliverables & records. Communicate and document work progress as required through verbal and written means

What are we looking for?

• Degree qualified in Engineering

• Previous experience using Solid works and an understanding in Large Assembly management techniques would be a strong advantage.

• Experience using nesting software would be beneficial not a necessity

• Possess excellent Time management skills and can meet targets and tight deadlines

• Have a proactive approach in relation to new projects and product development

• Be able to work effectively in a team and work towards common goals and targets
