Job description

We are seeking a IT Systems Administrator to join our client’s existing IT team based in Co. Offaly.

The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for troubleshooting all hardware and software issues on applications and systems in fast-paced  manufacturing regulated environment.

This is a permanent job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hands on onsite IT Role providing tech support to local site.
  • Management of Servers, PC’s, Laptops, & Mobile Devices.
  • Management of Comm’s  including firewalls, switches, WIFI AP.
  • Participate in software implementation projects.
  • Printing- Multifunction and label printing.
  • Troubleshoot on issues.
  • Disaster Recovery and backup’s both on and offsite.
  • Produce clear technical documentation
  • Work closely with end-users and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Manage  supplier contracts and warranties.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A 3rd Level Qualification
  • 4+ Years Systems Administration experience
  • Office 365, Active Directory, Firewall, Cisco Switching.
  • ITIL Framework practices.
  • VMware experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working as part of a team.
