What you need to know
Your new role will be IT Desk Support for our client in Co. Offaly. A dynamic, growing, and reputable manufacturing company in the Healthcare sector.
As IT Desktop support you will be required to be onsite providing IT users with first hand support/help.
This is a permanent full-time position where working hours are on a daytime Monday to Friday basis.
Your new role
Duties and responsibilities
Support onsite and offsite staff in an efficient manner
Involved in Imaging and Preparation of hardware for staff
Support site Printing – Multifunction & Label printing
Support of wireless devices, eg RF Guns, laptops, printers
Liaise with Vendors
Carry out Backups/Restore
Responsible for Logging and managing tickets in IT Ticketing system
Escalate issues to Systems Admin onsite
What are we looking for?
1-2 years’ experience in an onsite IT Desk support role would be a major advantage
Third level degree in an IT discipline
Experience in Windows operations experience, Hardware configuration and Troubleshooting would be an extreme advantage
Strong communicator and the ability to work effectively in a team
Awareness of company’s tight deadlines and the ability to resolve issues a fast-paced manner
