Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Food Safety & QA Supervisor for our client, based in the Kildare area.

This is a permanent role, offering early working hours.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Ensure the effective operation of the Food Safety and Quality Management System through verification, validation and routine troubleshooting.

• Ensure the production of food-safe products that meet specification.

• Contribute towards the development and implementation of these systems.

What are we looking for?

• 3rd level degree in Science or related.

• 1 – 2 years’ experience in driving compliance, quality & food safety, and day-to-day technical troubleshooting in a fast-paced production environment.

• Experience in operating & improving quality systems.

• Knowledge of food safety & quality standards e.g. BRC, Regulatory and Retailer Standards.

• Experience working with customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and audits desirable.
