What you need to know

Our client, a global commercial manufacturing organization, require a Financial Controller who will lead and manage the strategic and operational performance of the finance function. You will be a key member of the senior management team participating in the effective running of the business.

This is a permanent role with a very comprehensive financial package. You will report into corporate and the local General Manager.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Manage all the financial and management accounting activities for the plant

• Participate fully in product pricing (current and new) and costing processes

• Be a key player in establishing the CI function and introduction of same

• Deliver business strategies and maintain strong financial governance

• Actively contribute to business and financial performance, deliver on targets

• Evaluate management processes and how they can be improved

• Implement relevant KPIs and use all available tools to analyze

• Provide support for CapEx budget, due diligence requirements, and management of external agencies

• Work closely with the management team on the strategic plan development and implementation

• Train, manage and develop the team.

Essential Criteria:

• Will consider a Management Accountant on a career path for an FC role

• Qualified Accountant 8-10 years

• Manufacturing background is essential

• Strong SAP experience

• Extensive experience of Lean

• Attentive to detail, "can-do" attitude

• Problem solver and an excellent communicator
