Your New Job:
In this role, as a Financial Accountant, you’ll work closely with senior finance professionals, gaining valuable experience across all areas of the finance department. You’ll play an active part in the daily, monthly, and year-end operations, as well as work on continuous improvement projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures for multiple entities
- Prepare and post general ledger entries throughout the period
- Complete and submit government returns when required
- Support audit processes, including preparing files and acting as a main contact for the audit team
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports for accuracy
- Manage accruals, prepayments, payroll, cash management, and employee expenses
- Identify and drive improvements within finance processes and controls
- Provide functional advice, support, and training to team members
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis, projects, and additional duties as they arise
What Are We Looking For?:
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Commercially minded and able to interpret financial performance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) as well as SAP experience
