Your New Job:

You’ll work closely with other business functions, gaining hands-on experience across finance, production, and commercial teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with invoicing and credit control, making sure records are up to date and queries are resolved
- Support finance operations: month-end activities, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and management accounts preparation
- Assist with VAT and statutory reporting requirements
- Assist with stock control tasks by monitoring stock pricing, usage, and consumption trends and provide regular updates
- Contribute to financial analysis by reporting on margins, costs, and operational performance
- Liaise with production and site teams to understand cost drivers, waste, and variances
- Reconcile dispatch/delivery data with financial records for accuracy
- Maintain accurate financial data and support improvements to processes and reporting
- 2-3 years’ experience in a finance or commercial role is essential
- Business, Finance, or Accounting qualification
- Strong Excel skills and confidence with Microsoft Office
- Comfortable managing changing priorities and a diverse to-do list
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and collaborative
- Experience with ERP or inventory systems is an advantage
