Matrix Recruitment is recruiting for an EHS Advisor on behalf of our client in Carlow.
Permanent role/ Fully onsite
Your New Job:
As EHS Advisor, you’ll work closely with the EHS Manager and production teams to promote a positive safety culture across manufacturing sites. This permanent role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering safety initiatives every day.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and encourage a proactive EHS culture on site
- Develop and implement robust safety plans
- Work with contractors to ensure safe systems of work
- Attend meetings to discuss EHS improvements and challenges
- Maintain and update EHS documentation and reports
- Prepare clear accident and incident reports, flagging issues and solutions
- Take part in site audits and follow up actions
- Support operational teams to keep safety at the heart of daily practices
- Monitor EHS objectives and compliance measures
What Are We Looking For?:
- Level 7 or higher qualification in Health and Safety
- 2 years’ + experience in an EHS role
- Experience in manufacturing with visibility on the ground
- Working knowledge of Irish industry standards and regulations.
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good with Microsoft Office and open to new tech
- Genuine enthusiasm for making positive change
