What you need to know

We are currently seeking a Cyber Communications Specialist for our global financial services client, based in Dublin (hybrid working available).

In this job, you will be required to represent the company, professionally and effectively and the Information Security Division to lines of business, clients, regulators, senior executives, and other organizations.

This is a 12-month contract position with some potential for extension and / or permanency. 

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Carrying out activities around phishing simulations and running the operations for the company-wide phishing simulation program, which includes the planning, execution and reporting of Information Security Division-hosted exercises

  • Planning all phases of phishing test preparation in conjunction with business teams to include communication with stakeholders, vendors, and leadership; scenario design; development of educational materials; and communication with technical teams to enable test delivery and reporting

  • Analyzing test results to translate simulation findings into concrete actions for the relevant teams and preparing a detailed draft report

  • Providing thought leadership in developing and implementing innovative approaches to phishing awareness

  • Working on cyber hygiene awareness projects

  • As a cybersecurity SME, you will support the company with cyber training content, cyber awareness bulletins, and other cyber hygiene initiatives

  • Responsible for conducting cyber hygiene sessions to various groups, both virtual and in person

  • Public speaking and adaptive communication skills, and a passion for conveying cybersecurity information to non-cyber audiences are crucial skills for success in this role

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field(or equivalent work experience)

  • Native or native-level proficiency in written and spoken English (CEFR C2, TOEFL 30, IELTS 9)

  • 2-5 years of experience in information security or technology risk, preferably in a communication and/or data analytics role

  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry a plus

  • 1+ years of experience in phishing simulation planning and execution, including scenario development, scenario design, and reporting 

  • Good understanding of data analysis (ability to draw actionable conclusions) and data presentation

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals to enable collaboration with subject matter experts to devise, develop and implement realistic cyber exercise scenarios 

  • Ability to build visually attractive and cohesive presentations

  • Excellent organizational skills and track record of effective and innovative project management and project delivery 

  • Public speaking and adaptive communication skills, and a passion for conveying cybersecurity information to non-cyber audiences

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Team player who collaborates well with others to solve problems

  • Experience in developing and maintaining detailed process and procedure documentation
