Matrix Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to join our clients team based in their Nursing Home in County Laois. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead and support a dynamic nursing team in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and support to staff nurses and healthcare attendants.
Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in ensuring smooth operation and high-quality care.
Ensure that all staff under your supervision are familiar with and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Conduct audits on clinical and care practices in collaboration with the DON/ADON and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure that all accidents and incidents are promptly reported to the appropriate personnel and assist in gathering and providing relevant information.
Adhere to all statutory health, safety, and welfare regulations.
Document all staff counselling sessions and ensure records are forwarded to HR.
Organise daily duties and task lists for staff to ensure optimal workflow.
Deliver training in your areas of expertise and ensure that all staff attend required training sessions.
What we look for.
Nursing Registration: Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible for registration.
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant post-registration experience.
Experience in gerontological care and/or dementia care is highly desirable.
Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
