What you need to know

We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst – Procurement Compliance for our client, a Public Sector Organisation.

This role is for a 9 month duration.

The role is based in Co. Wicklow, with hybrid working options also available.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • To support the change effort relating to the Finance and Procurement management system

  • Provide additional local capacity to engage in procurement planning, ongoing monitoring, assessment and enhancement of compliance with current public procurement sourcing and contracting requirements

  • Monitoring, improving and supporting enhanced compliance with, the operation of best practice controls, and processes, related to purchase requisitioning, purchase ordering and goods receipting

  • Support data capture, analysis, reporting and forecasting, in relation procure to pay for the organisation

  • Ensure that the day-to-day operations and procedures relating to procurement comply with the Financial Regulations

  • Play a lead role in engaging with colleagues to provide specialist procurement advice and support to facilitate informed decision making

  • Play a key role in supporting improvements in procurement data management, including integrity of ERP system data, local databases, and other data interfaces and dealing with system issues as they arise

  • Support the rollout of key system reform processes in collaboration with the change management team. Provide support to staff through the change process to ensure a smooth transition with regards to systems, processes, data, and new ways of working.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a Business Analysis and Business Reporting role within a large complex organisation, Procurement compliance experience and report writing experience

  • Experience in leadership with experience of successfully leading a team through Organisational Change processes

  • Experience using SAP or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Financial Management system and the production of management reports

  • Advanced excel skills and significant knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Regulations

  • Access to appropriate transport is necessary for this role
