What you need to know

You will work as an Assistant Finance Manager for our client, a services organization in the Carlow/Kilkenny region.

You will report into the Finance Manager.

The role is a 6-month contract with an attractive salary.

Your new job:

You will manage a wide range of activities within the finance function.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial accounts for head office and subsidiaries

  • Ensure the deadlines are all met

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors

  • Prepare and get approval for annual budget

  • Present the monthly management report packs for senior management and the Board

  • Review the costing reports and validate accuracy

  • Support the operation of the fixed asset system

  • Report on day-to-day cash management

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Accountant with 5 years pqe

  • Excellent IT skills

  • Strong organizer who can prioritize tasks

  • Pro-active with excellent problem-solving skills
