What You Need to Know:
Matrix Recruitment is seeking an Accountant (Nearly or Newly Qualified) to join an established and well-know company based in Tipperary.
You’ll gain valuable experience supporting a dynamic business division, with mentorship from experienced professionals within the team.
Your New Job:
In this role, you will be working alongside a collaborative team and will play a key part in accounting processes and financial support initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and investigate variances
- Carry out monthly reconciliations
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities
- Contribute to statutory reporting and work with external auditors
- Deliver financial analysis and support to the wider business
- Assist with ongoing improvements of processes and systems development
- Manage various ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
What Are We Looking For?:
- Qualified or nearly-qualified accountant
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Good working knowledge of financial accounting and reporting systems
- Eagerness to expand skills, take initiative, and advance professionally
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
