Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Leading the technical, quality, & hygiene teams.

• Developing and implementing a compelling technical strategy aligned with business priorities.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, legality, quality, & hygiene standards.

• Managing cross-functional relationships & stakeholders.

• Providing advice on food safety, legality, & environmental compliance.

• Overseeing technical, quality, & hygiene auditing functions.

• Managing business continuity and crisis situations.

• Implementing HACCP & quality management systems.

• Ensuring departmental efficiency and compliance.

• Managing food safety, quality, & technical issues throughout production.

What are we looking for?

• Significant experience in a strategic technical leadership role in meat manufacturing.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Technical and commercial acumen with a focus on safety and legality.

• Understanding of UK legislation related to food safety, legality, and the environment.

• Proactive, change-oriented leader with good interpersonal skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively & influence at all levels.

• Level 4 HACCP & food safety certification.

• Decision-making skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
